Cindy and Jim, her husband of 37 years, were both born in North Carolina. However, they have lived many places during Jim's career as an Army helicopter pilot. They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

Cindy is working toward a degree in business at Colorado Technical University Online. She joined the Village Baptist Church staff in May 2007.
