Cindy and Jim, her husband of 40 years, were both born in North Carolina. However, they have lived many places during Jim's career as an Army helicopter pilot. They have three children and three grandchildren.

Cindy is working toward a degree in business at Colorado Technical University Online. She joined the Village staff in May 2007.
