LOA/ RC College Prep Student Apologetics/Evangelism

Christian Apologetics:

“…A rational defense of Christianity; giving a reason or justification of one’s beliefs; use of evidences and sound reasoning to reach individuals for Christ.”

“Dear friends, Although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt I had to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints.” – Jude 1:3

As many as 75% of Christian high school students will stop attending church within two years of starting college. One reason for this is that Christian students don’t understand WHY they believe. They know THAT they believe…but have no idea WHY.

“Living Out Acts” exists to train our students in truth and to give them the opportunity & confidence to engage the culture around them. These students will be equipped with the tools and experience they need to lovingly defend the Christian faith in order to reach a lost world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  See what our Legatus Christi Designees say about LOA HERE!

This is NOT your typical “youth group.”  Students in LOA will tackle tough challenges to the faith, wrestle through difficult theological questions, and they will prepare themselves to contend for the faith. Students in LOA will study the following topics  – and more – in depth:

    • What is TRUTH?
    • Comparative World Religions
    • Does God Exist? – Science & Morality
    • The Reliability of the New Testament
    • Did Jesus REALLY Rise from the Dead?
    • The Problem of Evil & Suffering
    • TACTICS in Defending The Faith
    • F.A.I.T.H. Evangelism Strategy

The objective is for students to be able to effectively defend their faith to THEMSELVES, to be a resource to OTHER BELIEVERS on their high school/college campuses, and to be able to ENGAGE the harshest SKEPTIC with the TRUTH that can save them.
