The Village Baptist Church is working to respond to disasters should they arise. Whether they are local or elsewhere, our desire is to meet needs, bring hope, and of course to connect people with Christ and His family. Contact Pastor Kevin Duffy if you have questions about how you can help. For additional opportunities, check with the NC Baptists on Mission.

WANT TO HELP VICTIMS OF IRMA?
The Village Baptist Church is putting together a team of volunteers to join with the NC Baptists on Mission Disaster Relief and Recovery. Informational meetings were held Sunday, September 17th but it may not be too late for you to join our team.
Our actual work site is yet to be determined, but the plan is to leave on Sunday, September 24. The team would work Monday through Friday and return home on Saturday, September 30. This could be pushed back a week or so depending on when the NC Baptists on Mission get their Headquarters established. We will be doing disaster recovery operations which include chainsaw operations, patching roofs and cleaning out flooded homes.
If you are a current or former trained volunteer with the NC Baptists on Mission (formerly Baptist Men), we would appreciate your call even if you aren’t still an active volunteer. If you are not a current or former member, but you want to help, we need you.
